Artist Dain Yoon believes the face is the most sensitive part of the body and the place that conveys the most emotions. This is why many of her designs are created utilizing the landscape of the face. In this case, she’s painted a series of mini portraits with different facial expressions, leaving the viewer wondering about her intentions.
Emotions matter because they are an effective communication tool and help us avoid or resolve conflicts. The term alexithymia is also used to describe when a person finds it difficult to identify or express their emotions.
