Anita Alvarez – Swimming
Anita Alvarez, an aquatic angel, has been making waves in the world of synchronized swimming. Following in her mother’s footsteps (who competed in the 1984 US Olympic Trials), Anita has carved her path to success. She’s a member of the US Synchronized Swimming National Team and an Olympian, representing the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Can you believe that 14-year-old Anita qualified for and competed in the 2012 US Olympic Team Trials? Fast-forward to 2021, and she was rightfully named the United States’ Artistic Swimming Athlete of the Year. She’s not just about grace and skill, graduating from Air Force Basic Military Training in January 2025.
