Mareen Apitz – Volleyball
Volleyball fans would agree that Mareen Apitz is a virtuoso after building a career that’s truly something to spike about! This German star, also known as Römer, started her volleyball journey in the late 1990s, working her way up from the youth sector. Her hard work paid off big time, with three German Cup wins, including a 2019-2020 season victory.
But Mareen’s talents aren’t just on the court. She was even crowned the “most beautiful German gymnast” by “Playboy” magazine in 2017. Talk about a double threat! Mareen has since transitioned to coaching, sharing her expertise with the next generation of volleyball stars.
