Making the Most of Gold Foil
Speaking of shiny, here’s a photo of four people in blinding gold dresses to make anyone feel better about their risky fashion choices. Since aluminum foil originated in the early 1900s, its uses have multiplied. Now people use them for food storage, to scare off birds in the garden, and to line cabinets and drawers to help lighten up the dark corners.
But someone decided foil could also be used to make gowns; we don’t know how to feel about that. Not only would this group set off a blinding reaction once they stepped out into the sun, but they’d also get pretty sweaty pretty fast.
