Joanne Woodward – 1930
Joanne Gignilliat Trimmier Woodward or Joanne Woodward is a star from the Golden Era of Hollywood. However, acting wasn’t Woodward’s first exposure to the world of showbiz, though it was her ultimate dream. Instead, the way came in the form of beauty pageants and appearances at theater productions. Joanne’s dream of making a name for herself in the industry came to the realization when she and her family relocated to New York City.
She managed to study the craft of acting more deeply. Joanne made her debut in acting some 50 odd years ago. She eventually met her husband on the same show. Joanne embodies fitness, being able to portray a wide range of roles on both the big and small screen. Her acting skills went on to win her an Academy Award, three Primetime Emmy Awards, and three Golden Globe Awards. Despite being 90 years old, she doesn’t seem to be planning her retirement, and we couldn’t be happier!
