Dewitt stole the limelight after slipping into the shoes of Janet Wood in Three’s< Company. In 1974, the actress received her Masters’ degree from the University of California, before which she completed her graduation in the very famous Ball State University. After that, she landed into acting on the ABC network (no, not Three’s< Company), with <Baretta, which catapulted her to fame.

In all these years, her acting career fetched her popularity and appreciation, besides rich reserves of money stocked in bank accounts. So it requires no second mention that financial anxieties kept a safe distance from her! Her contemporary looks haven’t changed much as the young Janet seems to play peek-a-boo (often), especially with the signature short hair. That was her trademark back then, and even now, she sports the same style. Guess some things take one down the memory lane.
