Karine is not new to the Biden administration, as she has been holding the position of the principal deputy press secretary since January 2021. Karine and her partner Suzanne Malveaux are pretty tight-lipped about their personal lives. What we do know is that Karine and Suzanne live in Washington, D.C., with their lovely daughter, Soleil.

Armed with a sociology and journalism degree, Suzanne has built a wonderful career in broadcast journalism. She has also been part of shows such as CNN’s Around the World as well as part of the CNN newsroom. Suzanne has also worked as a White House correspondent and a primary substitute for Wolf Blitzer on The Situation Room.
