To improve their meals, Lexi and Danny focused on adding more protein, including lean meats like chicken, turkey, and fish. Carbs were limited, but when cravings hit, they made smarter choices. For example, whole-wheat bread replaced white, and when pizza was on the menu, they crafted homemade versions using tortillas instead of heavy crusts.
Vegetables became a staple, too. Interestingly, brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, and broccoli were their go-to options, packed with vitamins and minerals. Lexi believed that these changes made their meals more nutritious and helped them feel more energized. Each choice brought them closer to their goals, one healthy meal at a time.
