Finding the right gym was one of Lexi’s biggest challenges. The thought of working out in front of a crowd made her feel self-conscious and uneasy. But she didn’t let that stop her. After a lot of searching, she discovered a gym with fewer people that felt more comfortable and inviting.
She decided that if anyone stared, she’d make sure they were watching “the hardest working person in the room.” What made it easier was knowing Danny would be there, too. They were committed to improving their health together, and the thought of facing challenges side by side kept Lexi motivated, even when doubts crept in.
