Sticking to the five-step plan wasn’t the hardest part—it was staying committed. Danny admitted that his body was a creature of habit, and adjusting to something new felt like an uphill battle. Starting was tough, but he believed in “shocking the system” and forcing himself to take the first step.
For Lexi, it was about rethinking their entire relationship with food. She explained that they had to stop eating for pleasure and start eating for nourishment. Having Danny by her side made all the difference. With a “buddy system” in place, they kept each other motivated, pushing forward with a sense of accountability.
