Lexi and Danny’s weight gain was largely fueled by their eating habits. Instead of cooking healthy meals at home, they relied on takeout and fast food. It was easier—no cooking, no cleaning, simply instant gratification. They often found themselves at all-you-can-eat buffets, indulging in limitless amounts of food.
As time passed, things began to shift. More and more Americans were turning to home-cooked meals. Studies revealed that 82% of people were cooking more than they had a decade ago. With growing awareness about health and the rise of easy-to-follow recipes online, it was clear that change was on the horizon for Lexi and Danny.
