Yalitza Aparicio gained worldwide fame and recognition after winning the Oscar for best actress in the film Roma. Thus she became the first indigenous woman to be nominated for this award.
Since then he has been on the news covers and has been among the 100 most influential characters of 2019. Another of the news that went viral was that of his romance with Andrés Montes, a dental surgeon with whom he was seen in countless photos in instagram. Yalitza never confirmed the romance but the photos were more than obvious.
However, shortly after, the photos were completely deleted from the accounts of both and this is because an interview with Wendy Ahumada, Andrés’s former partner, who accused him of family violence.
