Eran comienzos de la década de los 80 cuando Felicity Huffman conoció a William H. Macy en el Atlantic Theather Company en la ciudad de Nueva York. Esta pareja estuvo saliendo por casi 15 años, Macy le propuso matrimonio muchas veces a Felicity, pero ella tenía miedo debido al divorcio de sus padres. Ella finalmente se decidió y se casaron en septiembre de 1997. La pareja tuvo dos hijas, Sofia Grace Macy y Georgia Grace Macy. Ambos siguen trabajando y esperamos que sigan brindándonos su talento en la pantalla grande y en la televisión.
