Michael Moore dominou as telas de TV com sua presença magnânima, mas seu peso estava se tornando um problema para o ator. Depois de ser avisado sobre a deterioração de sua saúde e possíveis problemas cardíacos, Moore decidiu agir. Enquanto muitos outros poderiam ter optado por pílulas ou suplementos, Moore escolheu um método bastante singular. Ele entrou em um spa de perda de peso no qual ele teria gasto pelo menos US$ 4.500 por semana para seus serviços. Bem, o spa parece ter funcionado maravilhas, porque Moore perdeu 11 quilos e planeja manter seu peso sob controle.
