Robin Roberts & Amber Laign – 18 Years Together
Although sports anchor Robin Roberts hosts “Turning the Tables with Robin Roberts” on Disney+, she used to be a regular on ESPN between 1995 and 2005. She met the love of her life Amber Laign on a blind date in 2005. According to an article on Glamour, Laign didn’t know who her spouse-to-be was at that time.
The relationship was low-key for almost eight years before Roberts came out as a proud gay woman and revealed that her partner was supportive throughout. Although she didn’t mention Laign’s last name, the media figured out who it was. Roberts celebrated her 20th work Anniversary with the TV show “Good Morning America” in 2022.
