Dick Van Dyke blijft een tijdloze verschijning in de filmwereld, bekend om zijn legendarische rollen die generaties hebben geïnspireerd. Zijn charismatische optreden als Bert in “Mary Poppins” katapulteerde hem naar sterrendom, en hij bleef het publiek betoveren met films zoals “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” en “Night at the Museum”. Ook op televisie stal hij de show met “The Dick Van Dyke Show”, waarmee hij zijn komisch talent tentoonstelde en tal van prijzen won. Ondanks zijn hoge leeftijd keerde hij recent nog terug in de sequel van “Mary Poppins”, waarmee hij bewees dat zijn artistieke magie nog lang niet is uitgewerkt.
