MONIQUE VAN DE VEN – ACTRICE – 72 JAAR OUD
Monique van de Ven had altijd een rotsvast geloof in haar acteertalent en liet zich door niets tegenhouden om haar droom te verwezenlijken. Na het voltooien van haar opleiding aan de toneelschool, werd ze op twintigjarige leeftijd meteen in de schijnwerpers gezet toen ze de hoofdrol kreeg in de iconische film “Turks Fruit.” Dit was het begin van een glansrijke carrière waarin ze excelleerde in zowel film als televisie. Haar persoonlijke leven kende hoogte- en dieptepunten, zoals haar scheiding na zeventien jaar huwelijk met Jan de Bont. Maar het geluk lachte haar opnieuw toe toen ze haar liefde vond bij Edwin de Vries. Samen bouwden ze een gezin op, al moesten ze helaas ook het verdriet verwerken van het verlies van een kind. Op haar 72e geniet Monique van haar pensioen, waarin ze de rust en reflectie heeft gevonden die deze nieuwe levensfase met zich meebrengt.
