YORICK VAN WAGENINGEN – ACTEUR – 60 JAAR OUD
Yorick van Wageningen brak pas op latere leeftijd door in de Nederlandse televisiewereld, met indrukwekkende rollen in series zoals ‘Spijkerhoek’ en ‘Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden’. Maar het was zijn passie voor theater die hem echt de kans gaf om zijn talenten te ontplooien. Hoewel zijn werk in eigen land wisselend werd ontvangen, vond hij overzee een waarderende kijker. Hollywood-regisseur Steven Spielberg herkende zijn talent, wat leidde tot een memorabele rol in de film ‘Minority Report’. Dit betekende het begin van zijn internationale doorbraak. Tegenwoordig heeft Yorick van Wageningen een plek verworven onder de weinige Nederlandse acteurs die aanzien hebben in Hollywood. Hij speelde naast grote namen als Vin Diesel, Tom Cruise en Christian Bale, en zijn carrière is nog steeds in beweging, met nieuwe kansen aan de horizon.
