DEBBIE HARRY – ZANGERES – 79 JAAR OUD
Debbie Harry begon haar muzikale avontuur als lid van de folkgroep The Wind in the Willows, maar haar naam werd pas echt bekend toen ze in 1973 frontvrouw werd van de legendarische band Blondie. Met hits zoals “Heart of Glass” en “Call Me” veroverde de band de muziekwereld en werd Harry een onmiskenbaar stijlicoon. Naast haar muzikale carrière vond ze ook succes als actrice, met opvallende rollen in films zoals “Hairspray” en “Videodrome”. Hoewel ze in de jaren 2000 nog enkele nieuwe nummers uitbracht, besloot Harry in 2019 haar rijke carrière te eren door haar memoires te publiceren, waarin ze terugblikte op haar muzikale reis en blijvende impact op de popcultuur.
