Brodie était initialement insatisfait, mais sa curiosité l’a finalement emporté, et une fois qu’il a finalement été hors de l’eau, il a pris la décision de jeter un coup d’œil dans le sac. Il n’a rien trouvé d’intéressant. Le jeune homme ne s’attendait pas particulièrement à tomber sur quelque chose de valeur, et il n’était pas encore trop tard pour profiter de la journée.
Brodie avait de grands espoirs de trouver un moyen de rendre le sac à son propriétaire légitime, mais la situation était loin d’être résolue. Il était évident que le mystérieux sac avait été immergé dans l’eau pendant un temps considérable, et il était extrêmement peu probable que ce qu’il contenait soit encore en bon état après tout ce temps.
