At the Brit Awards in 2023, Ashnikko, known for her boundary-pushing music and visuals, made a truly out-of-this-world fashion statement. She donned a nude latex gown but with a twist. It featured alien egg or boil-like prosthetic augmentations running down her back.
It’s hardly surprising that Ashnikko’s choice received such mixed reactions. Some critics found the alien-esque prosthetics more bizarre than chic, a far cry from the usual red carpet glam. It was like a sci-fi movie that met high fashion in a very literal sense. Despite the raised eyebrows, Ashnikko wore her outfit with the confidence of someone who came to make a statement.
