À son jeune âge, l’animateur voulait devenir un grand homme d’affaires, c’est pourquoi il a suivi des études d’économie. Sa carrière d’animateur a débuté en 1992 quand il a commencé à participer à l’émission «Que le meilleur gagne» présentée par Nagui sur la cinq.
Ce n’est qu’à partir de 2001 que Benjamin commence à avoir du succès, quand il rejoint la chaîne M6 pour présenter l’émission de télé-réalité Loft Story. Il enchaîne avec d’autres émissions comme La nouvelle star ou encore Secret story. On peut dire que le chroniqueur a bien réussi dans la vie avec une valeur nette de 2 millions de dollars.
