En toda España, la reputación de Máximo Valverde como actor sigue creciendo. Una carrera que comenzó en 1968 lo ha visto aparecer en más de sesenta películas.
Además de sus otros emprendimientos, el actor español mantiene una presencia en la industria cinematográfica.
Aunque comenzó su carrera como torero en 1970, había hecho una breve aparición como actor de reparto en la película Fortunata y Jacinta.
Su éxito en el cine le abrió muchas puertas en el mundo de la actuación, y entregó una variedad de actuaciones, algunas de las cuales estuvieron a la altura de los altos estándares establecidos por sus fanáticos, y otras se quedaron cortas. Su carrera estuvo marcada por elogios y críticas por su producción.
