Strictly No Fish
With a majority of the people in Dubai driving around in their luxurious supercars, the others brave the hassle of public transport, such as trains. While traveling on the Metro, there are various rules displayed on warning signs, such as this one.
The sign of a fish with a red slashed circle over it is common in Palm Deira station, just next to the Dubai fish market. It means that commuters are not allowed to carry fish on the Metro, or any other animal for that matter, except guide dogs. That may be due to the smell of fish upsetting other people.
