La pareja mantuvo un romance en secreto por 5 años y fue recién en el 2007 que hicieron pública su relación. Sin embargo, desde ese momento Marcy ha sabido atenerse siempre muy discreta y distanciada de la prensa o las redes sociales.
Ella tiene muy pocas fotos tomadas en público con el arquero que tiene el récord en goles con la selección mexicana. Tienen una hija en común, Andrea Campos, pero incluso con su hija es difícil conseguir fotografías o notas de prensa.
