Representando al personaje principal en Desperate Housewives de 2004 a 2012, ella aumentó mucho su fama y logros. Ella se casó con la estrella de Charlotte Hornets, Tony Parker, en el 2007, pero las cosas buenas no duran mucho, ya que Eva tuvo que contratar los servicios de un abogado de divorcios y la pareja finalmente se separó en el 2011.
