Teaching is a very demanding profession. Ensuring students are treated fairly and respectfully while delivering quality lessons requires much effort. Knowing that, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics data, they are notoriously underpaid in the U.S., with a median annual salary of about $61,000 per year, makes them even more inspiring.
Now we understand why, on this particular occasion, the teacher decided to take a break. Instead of leaving their students unsupervised, they devised a brilliant substitution, a cardboard cutout of themselves! This was a humorous and creative way to give the instructor a break. We just hope they weren’t gone for long.
