As a child, Cal dreamed of escaping from a laboratory—a feat he has accomplished. This experience has allowed him to bring a unique perspective to the classroom, making his teaching style a refreshing change from the norm. His background and experiences have allowed him to take an out-of-the-box approach to teaching, and one can only imagine what he would say in a parent-teacher meeting.
