Army Specialist Deja Riley, stationed in the New York area, is a multifaceted individual who seamlessly blends her military prowess with personal passions. A Hampton University alumna, she is not only a sharpshooter but also an avid sports enthusiast, literature lover, and connoisseur of spicy cuisine.
While many might enjoy preparing meals for loved ones, she finds exhilaration in hitting targets the size of her head with her M-16 rifle. As an AR-15 specialist with the Army National Guard, Deja and her unit dedicate four to five days each month to training at Camp Perry, located at the base of Little Muncy Mountain in western Pennsylvania.
