Angie Stone was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 1999 and also suffered from congestive heart failure and high blood pressure which served as a wake-up call to live a healthier life. She joined the reality show Celebrity Fit Club but was only able to lose 18 pounds. She started to make a bigger effort by portioning her food and eating healthier meals which helped her lose as much as 75 pounds.
