Brittany excelled in writing and language arts, while Abby shone in math and science. Their kindergarten teacher, Connie Stahlke, quickly noticed their unique strengths and allowed them to work together or individually on assignments. At times, people suspected them of cheating because of their close collaboration, though they always maintained their integrity—admitting only to the occasional peek.
Their distinct academic talents even sparked thoughts of different career paths. However, they ultimately found a shared dream in teaching. Together, they enrolled at Bethel University, where they pursued a degree in education and graduated in 2012, proving that even with diverse skills and ambitions, they could unite for a common goal.
