When One Conjoined Twin Finds Love, The Story Gets Even Wilder
Embracing the Unseen
When Abby and Brittany began teaching at Sunnyside Elementary, they brought a wealth of experience from their college teaching courses. However, the school’s main concern wasn’t about their teaching skills; it was how young students would react to having conjoined twins as their teachers.
To ease everyone into this unique classroom experience, the school arranged an introduction with Abby and Brittany. Students were given two sessions to ask questions—one with the twins present and one without. The twins’ open, friendly responses quickly put everyone at ease. By the end, students were eager to start their lessons with the Hensel sisters, ready for the adventures that awaited them in the classroom.
