Mason Gamble – $500,000

Mason Gamble is now mostly known as a marine biologist, but when he was a child, he was chosen for the titular role for the 1993 movie Dennis the Menace. Mason, then a 7-year-old, beat out some 20,000 kids who auditioned for that role and gained instant fame worldwide due to his performance in the film. Following the success of the movie, Mason even received a few awards (plus a few more nominations) and went on to appear in a number of other TV shows and movies. The former actor later traded his acting career for a career in marine biology, a decision that disappointed many of his fans. Although it’s been almost a decade since he announced retirement from acting, Mason has still managed to accumulate a total of $500,000.
