Roald Dahl’s children’s books have stood the test of time as even today’s generation still fondly read his beloved works like Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, The BFG, and Fantastic Mr. Fox. Very few know though that Sophie from The BFG was actually his granddaughter Sophie. Years later, Sophie build careers in both acting and writing, and we do hope to read some of her stories someday. Sophie is married now and has two daughters, and perhaps she loves to write for them. Her next book release is due next year, and it is safe to assume banking on the fact that she does have creative genes in her blood, we might get to see some good writing.
