LE CONSEGUENZE DELL’ESPLOSIONE NUCLEARE
Il fuoco dell’esplosione continuò a causare devastazione per oltre una settimana, rilasciando fumo radioattivo nell’atmosfera. L’aria si contaminò e la maggior parte delle precipitazioni radioattive si depositò sopra l’Ucraina e parti della Bielorussia. Tuttavia, le correnti aeree trasportarono il fumo e lo diffusero in tutta l’Europa occidentale. L’Irlanda fu colpita e, secondo diverse notizie, anche Belgio, Francia e Regno Unito subirono la pioggia nucleare. Una tale tragedia era al di là di qualsiasi immaginazione umana e persino un avvocato specializzato in incidenti sarebbe stato senza parole, vedendo tante persone perdere la vita e i loro cari.
