IL PIANO DI EVA CUAZIONE DI 36 ORE DI PRIPYAT
Dopo l’esplosione, i residenti di Pripyat hanno capito che qualcosa non andava. Gli ufficiali sovietici hanno impiegato quasi 36 ore per ammettere e confermare che si era verificato un grave incidente e che era necessaria un’evacuazione. Nonostante ciò, hanno assicurato agli abitanti di Pripyat che sarebbero tornati entro pochi giorni per organizzare tutto e infine, il 28 aprile, gli ufficiali hanno iniziato ad evacuare le persone entro un raggio di 10 chilometri. Tuttavia, con il passare dei giorni, l’area di evacuazione si è allargata. Un’azione così tardiva avrebbe potuto spingere gli avvocati specializzati in morti accidentali a intraprendere azioni legali contro gli ufficiali.
