35 Years After The Chernobyl Disaster – This Is What It Looks Like Today

The Biggest Man-Made Disaster Ever

The Chernobyl disaster is perhaps the biggest man-made tragedy that occurred in world history and it remains so to date. As a matter of fact, it was claimed to be the first Level 7 incident on the INES, i.e. the International Nuclear Event Scale. Prior to this, the 2011 Fukushima Nuclear Disaster was the only Level 7 incident. However, Chernobyl is considered to be the worst as the disaster took a toll on thousands and was responsible for uncountable deaths. The insurance policies of the unfortunate victims weren’t probably of any help to their relatives and the tragedy will never be forgotten.
