A Persevering Princess
Being a royal princess is not just glamor and luxury but also hard work. Princess Diana knew this and spent her days at her desk in Kensington Palace, where she lived even after divorcing Prince Charles. She kept a small wooden box engraved with the name D. Spencer on her desk, reminding her of her days as a kindergarten teacher.
August 2017 marked the 20th anniversary of her death. Prince William and Prince Harry, her sons, then organized a series of projects to commemorate their mother’s memory. Kensington Palace also unveiled a garden in the late princess’ honor, along with a statue of her.
