45 Rarely Seen Photos of Princess Diana You’ve Never Seen Before

Tango And Thrills

In 1985, Prince Charles and Princess Diana made a memorable trip to Australia. On the night of their visit to the Southern Cross Hotel in Melbourne, they attended a charity dinner and hit the dance floor to the tune of “Isn’t She Lovely.”

Diana was wearing a stunning turquoise satin number designed by David and Elizabeth Emanuel, the same designers who had crafted her wedding dress. The public was enchanted with the romantic sight of the now-monarch and his first wife. They were believed to be deeply in love at the time, but as per Sally Bedell Smith’s biography of Charles, he and Camilla, his now-wife, would start their liaison.
