Tin Man On The Land Of Oz
This picture reminds us of Tin Man from the story “The Wizard of Oz,” which tells the story of a Kansas girl named Dorothy and her journey to her home after a tornado took her to a magical place. In reality, this is the sculpture called The Gentle Giant Who Shares And Cares, created by former gangster James Boyle.
In 1981, Boyle emerged from prison, having made a dramatic transformation, abandoning criminal activities in favor of his newfound passion for sculpture. He went on to pursue a successful career as an artist and an author. His life story was the basis of a character in “The Debt Collector.”
