Mark Scheinberg – $6.67 billion CAN ($5.3 billion US)
Mark Scheinberg made a multi-billion-dollar fortune through PokerStars, the online poker colossus he got from his father. The PokerStars parent company Rational Group Ltd. was first bought by Amaya Gaming Group of Canada in 2014 for a whopping amount of $5 billion. Scheinberg was the 75% owner and CEO of Rational who also owned the Full Tilt Poker but left the company because of some reason. He currently resides in the Isle of Man, United Kingdom.
Under his leadership as CEO, Mark successfully transformed the PokerStars into one of the internet’s largest online poker-playing platforms. They sold the company for $4.9 Billion and went on to establish Mohari Hospitality, an investment company. Scheinberg also divides his interests into developing luxury real estate and leisure destinations worldwide.
