Bruce Flatt is a Canadian businessman and the CEO of Brookfield Asset Management. He founded Brookfield in 1990 and became CEO in 2002. He has been called Warren Buffett of Canada because of his value investment style, his stint as a CEO, and his large investment in Brookfield. In 2022, he acquired the position of #622 on Forbes’ Billionaires list.
Brookfield Asset Management also invests in alternative assets like infrastructure, private equity, and real estate. Flatt has also made a name for himself for expanding the company’s reach across the globe and for being an integral part of major financial moves for the company.
His entrepreneurial skills have earned him a net worth of $5.79 billion CAN ($4.6 billion US) all set to increase in the days to come.
