Casi 40 Años De La Tragedia De Chernobyl; ¡Asi Se Ve Hoy!
La Limpieza y Sus Peligros
Aunque la primera explosión en Chernobyl fue devastadora, la limpieza posterior resultó ser aún más mortal para los trabajadores. De hecho, solo dos personas murieron en el momento de la explosión, pero la radiactividad hizo que el verdadero costo humano se cobrará durante los meses siguientes. En los primeros cuatro meses de trabajos de limpieza, aproximadamente 26 trabajadores fallecieron a causa de la exposición a la radiación.
Según expertos en accidentes laborales, fueron los niveles extremos de radiactividad los que causaron tantas muertes, y hoy se recuerda a esos valientes como héroes. Muchos sabían que su vida estaba en peligro, pero aún así decidieron continuar, conscientes de que su sacrificio era esencial para evitarlo.
