Residentes De Chernobyl Hoy En Dia
Después de la catástrofe nuclear de 1986, muchas familias decidieron regresar a sus aldeas cercanas a la zona contaminada de Chernóbil, a pesar del peligro latente. Aproximadamente 1.000 mujeres y niños regresaron a la zona de exclusión apenas unos meses después de la explosión. Estas familias estaban profundamente arraigadas a Pripyat y, para ellas, la idea de permanecer alejadas de su hogar era impensable. La falta de recursos y la ausencia de un abogado que defendiera sus derechos no les preocupaba tanto como el deseo de regresar.
Hoy en día, se estima que unas 100 personas siguen viviendo en la zona, afortunadas por no haber sufrido efectos graves de la radiación. Para ellos, regresar a su hogar era una necesidad, aunque la amenaza de la radiactividad persistiera.
