Ed Asner
Ed Asner, quien ganó un Emmy por su trabajo tanto en la comedia Mary Tyler Moore Show como en el drama Lou Grant, es mejor conocido por el público más joven por su trabajo de doblaje en animación, en particular por sus apariciones en Batman: The Animated Series. Ed Asner fue un héroe cultural para generaciones de entusiastas del entretenimiento.
Además de su destacada presencia en Twitter, Ed Asner tuvo papeles en Superman: The Animated Series y como Carl Fredrickson en la película Up de Pixar. Asner falleció inesperadamente a la edad de 91 años en agosto de 2021. Michael McKean lo llama un “buen hombre y un gran actor, duro en su discurso y sensato”.
