Mas quem não acompanha a série, provavelmente já viu algum de seus filmes de comédia romântica, como A Verdade Nua E Crua e Juntos Pelo Acaso, que a fizeram brilhar ainda mais. Mesmo com tanto sucesso, Heilg não optou por ostentar um carrão cinematográfico e escolheu uma Range Rover, pela qual pagou cerca de US$108 mil (R$435 mil).
Ainda assim é um SUV privilegiado e robusto, e o que motivou a atriz a escolhê-lo foi a necessidade de espaço para ela, o marido e mais três filhos. E foi justamente a foto de seu filho no carro que gerou certo transtorno para Katherine: pessoas maldosas inundaram a caixa de comentários com críticas de que o bebê não estava seguro e que sua cadeirinha não estava bem afivelada. Como atriz de comédia, talvez ela tenha olhado para a situação com humor após tudo se acalmar.
