Woodrow Wilson – Price Undetermined, Woodrow Wilson House, Washington, D.C.

Former president Woodrow Wilson and Edith, his better half, lived here after the conclusion of his tenure as the 28th head of the state in 1921.

The house had many special characteristics such as a marble entryway, book-lined study, a grand staircase, a Palladian window, and a butler’s pantry. The Woodrow Wilson House was his abode till the time he passed away in 1924.

However, his wife stayed there until she breathed her last in 1961. According to Edith’s last will, the house, with its insurance policies, was handed over to the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
