Franklin D. Roosevelt, or popularly called FDR, served as the 35th president of the USA from 1933 to 1945, the year when he passed away. He served the country at a period when the nation was going through and struggling with the Great Depression.

However, Roosevelt was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and into the Roosevelt family name which was made famous by the 26th US president: Theodore Roosevelt. Despite having polio that almost made him crippled, he continued with his good work and even served as president. It must run in the family.

He is often considered as one of the greatest presidents of all time along with the likes of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. He was largely responsible for building the foundation for the United Nations. His love for cars was well-known, especially his convertible, a Packard 12 which was gorgeous!
