Aitutaki Island, also known as Ara’ura island, is located in the South Pacific Ocean, about 3,321 miles east of Australia. The island is a relaxing tourist destination, but it is also one of the best places in the world to enjoy the excitement of angling.
Ara’ura presents three methods of catching fish, including spearfishing in the lagoon or at the deep sea, fly fishing within the sheltered waters of the lagoon, and trawling the deep sea for pelagic fish species. Another species to be found in these waters is the giant trevally which is perfect for the thrill of the catch-and-release practice.
