School Books Are Still There

Now that nobody enters the spooky-looking classrooms, the school books that remained there since the time of the disaster look disheveled and of no purpose. While it might seem strange to find books in that uncared state, the reality hits hard. It’s exactly wearing the same look since that time as life came to a total standstill for the inhabitants of a city that didn’t see the biggest disaster coming. About 5000 students were studying at the kindergarten level and 6786 were at the secondary level at the time of the catastrophic nuclear accident, although we do not yet know how many were in college at that time.
